Three years after the establishment of its subsidiary in Algeria, BNP Paribas, the leading bank of the eurozone, is now adding a new dimension to BNP Paribas El Djazaïr, undertaking to create, from 2005, a significant network of branches throughout the country.
Our development plan should enable the bank to diversify its presence in Algiers and to progressively cover the entire territory of the country, thus helping us realise our objective of becoming a major banking player at the service of Algeria's economic development.
With support from our parent company, the bank is constantly working on improving the range and quality of its products and services. This allows BNP Paribas El Djazaïr to continuously reinforce its position as a reference bank - reliable, innovative and attentive to the needs of both its business and its private customers.

Ownership structure
To help the bank with the development of its operations, BNP Paribas El Djazaïr introduced changes to its general management team at the end of 2004.

- BNP Paribas El Djazaïr is a company limited by shares, with registered capital of 2 000 000 000 dinars.
- 100% of the shares are owned by the BNP Paribas Group.
